Pickles are very good side dishes for many meals. It should be tangy and salty and should go well with the main dishes. This recipe of red onion pickle is the best pickle for North Indian dishes.

This is a super easy pickle recipe and is very tasty. I had first had it at my aunt's place and loved it so much that I always have a bottle of this pickle in my fridge.
The preparation takes 5 mins. It needs to rest for 3 days for the pickling.
Ingredients:
Smell red onions - 15-20 [peeled and cleaned]
Water - 1/4 cup
Salt - 1 tsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Method:
In a small bowl mix water, slat and vinegar. Pour this mixture into the red onions and mix well.
Cover and rest for 3 days. Shake once in a day. Refrigerate and enjoy after 3 days.
