The perfect breakfast for a Sunday morning. This super soft and spicy paratha is a must try recipe for your next weekend.

This is one of my mother's recipes. It is easy to prepare and liked by most people. I usually like pairing it with curds and pickle which compliments the spicy parathas beautifully.
It takes about 45 mins to make about 6-8 parathas.
Ingredients:
Cauliflower - 1 cup (florets)
Potato - 1 cup (cubes)
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil
Method:
Boil the cauliflower florets and the potato cubes and smash it finely. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and add mustard seeds. Once they have sizzled, add ginger paste and turmeric powder and saute. Add the smashed vegetable mixture to it and mix well. Add in red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt and mix till well combined. Once the mixture cools, add wheat floor and again a bit of chilli powder and salt if required. Mix till soft dough is formed by adding small quantities of water. Form small balls and roll it using a rolling pin uniformly. Cook it on hot tawa using oil on both the sides.
Enjoy the spicy parathas with a cup of curd. You can also have it with any gravy you like. Hope you liked this recipe.
