The perfect fancy dish for a last minute date night at home. The creamy sauce and the spicy paneer makes the perfect combination for a satisfying meal.

I came across this recipe while trying to find different rice recipes on the internet. I have customized and consolidated different recipes to come up with this bowl of deliciousness.
It takes about 30mins to prepare 2 servings of this recipe.
Ingredients:
For veggie sauce:
Oil - 1 tbsp
Green chillies - 2 [finely chopped]
Onion - 1 small [finely chopped]
Capsicum - 2 tbsp finely chopped each of green, red and yellow colors
Sweet corn - 2 tbsp
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Wheat floor - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1 cup
Cheddar cheese - 1/4 cup [grated]
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Peri peri powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
For Paneer steak:
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Oregano - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Paneer - 4 large peices
Oil - 2 tbsp
For Herb rice:
Oil - 2 tsp
Chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
Oregano - 1/2 tsp
Rice - 1 cup [Cooked]
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp [finely chopped]
Method:
In a pan, heat oil. Add green chillies and onion. Once onion is cooked a bit, add the colored capsicum and corn. Fry till they are cooked a bit. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté. Add wheat flour and fry. Add the milk and let it come to a boil. Add the cheese and mix well. Add red chilli powder, peri peri powder and salt and combine everything together.
In a plate, mix red chilli powder, oregano, pepper powder and salt. Mix everything and coat the paneer pieces with the prepared mixture. Shallow fry the paneer pieces with oil.
In a kadai, heat oil. Add chilli flakes and oregano. Add the cooked rice and salt. Mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.
