Paneer tikka is a very common dish in the menu of most restaurants where North Indian dishes are served. It is a very easy dish to prepare in a short amount of time. Here is my take on the recipe.

I personally love Paneer like many vegetarians in India. Paneer tikka is the simplest paneer dish according to me and is an amazing snack or starter.
It takes about an hour to prepare 8 sticks.
Ingredients:
Paneer cubes - 16 (2 per tooth-pick)
Capsicum pieces - minimum 24 (3 per tooth-pick)
Onion pieces - minimum - 24 (3 per tooth-pick)
Curd - 1 cup
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
Aamchur powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 4-5 tbsp
Method:
In a bowl, add the curd. Add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, aamchur powder, garam masala, chaat masala, salt and mix well. Add paneer cubes, capsicum pieces, onion pieces and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 mins. In a kadai, add oil and let it heat. Shallow fry all the vegetables in the oil on all sides uniformly. On a tooth-pick, arrange all the veggies as per your likes. You can also use different vegetables or even fruits as per your taste. You can also have them as is without the tooth-pick.
As you can see, the paneer tikka is a super easy recipe which satisfies paneer cravings for Paneer lovers. Do let me know if you enjoyed it.
